Things I Learned From Being a Mom
That it takes ALL morning to put together the Lincoln Log set (especially when you have natural disasters called 'Baby Sister')...but is well worth it when your boy gives you a great big hug for doing so and then plays for HOURS.
It is not necessary to grab your child and run screaming out of the hairdressers chair when she smiles and you discover she is missing most of her teeth. She might not be good at brushing, but she can still cut hair okay. [Life lesson: don't be so judgmental!]
And lastly, I never thought that singing at the top of my lungs and dancing to Aristocat's soundtrack would be such a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!
