Today Jeff had his photo shoots. So when he was setting up this morning, he wanted to take some "practice" shots to check out his lighting and he grabbed the kids to test it out...

This one is my favorite (above). I do realize I am biased...but I can't get over how absolutely beautiful she is!!!

I also had to post this for those of you that say you haven't ever seen the princess without a hairbow...proof, we don't sleep in them!! hehe. I sure wish I looked this great when I wake up and haven't even combed my hair yet!!

Now Booking Fall Outdoor Photo Sessions

Only 8 more weeks until Christmas! Can you believe it?! Many of you have asked about photos for your holiday cards, and I am happy to release the news on our blog that Jeff is currently booking photo sessions for this Saturday - November 1. The weather is predicted to be in the mid 60's, so that is EXCITING (Those of you who have frozen or sweated through your photos in the past know exactly how exciting this is!!)

Here are some details:

1 hour photo session for your family; will take both family photos and individual photos of you and the kids (pets welcome). If you have seen a particular shot you like, please bring a copy along and we'll do our best to recreate this look for your family! You are welcome to do any type of wardrobe change if you would like, although please remember there is not a great place to change at our outdoor location! The location is in Glen Carbon, across from City Hall. We will send more details on this and dress recommendations when you book your time.

$75 includes the photo session along with a CD of your pictures, and a release letter permitting you to have these photos printed. (We have found this to be a requirement at our local Walgreens and Walmart photo centers). The "top pics" will be retouched for you (and any others at your request). You may then print as many of these photos as you'd like!

Mark, Kelli and Ava Photo Shoot

Tonight Jeff took some 6 month photos of Ava for Kelli and Mark. As he was getting the camera and background set up, he snapped some of him/Ry and Julia too.

After the photo shoot the kids and I dashed across the street for Devin's 5th birthday party. (Happy Birthday, Devin!). The kids had a great time playing on the swingset, in the sandbox and eating cake.

I'm SO EXCITED to have a "slower" day planned for tomorrow! It feels like we've just been going and going nonstop this week! All fun, but I am ready for a breather...and to have some chill time!
